2 GIGABYTE FIX is a super nice OS/2 utility that will make DOS applications that cannot recognize large hard drives think that the drive is under 2 gigs when in an OS/2 DOS session.
A list and description of some of Jack's favorite OS/2 files — software he actually ran. Most links point to the Hobbes archive at NMSU, which is still online today.

BOXER OS/2 Text Editor version 2.75. This is a super programmer's text editor for OS/2. It has many installable keyboards to make the transition from other editors (such as QEdit) easy. Features syntax color highlighting, powerful blocking features, undo and a million other nice features. Boxer home page.

File Commander version 2.12 is a clone of Norton Commander for DOS, but MUCH more powerful. Has many features. Very comparable to OS/2 Commander and still supported and under development.
GETSET.CMD Ver. 7.5 is a REXX script that will read in and list all your objects that have an OBJECTID. You can then select one to view its settings, create a REXX script that will re-create the object, or do a search for object names using partial or full names of the object. This script is not for new OS/2 users and is mainly useful only to advanced users. It's not hard to use however. Note from the restoration: Jack hosted this file on the site itself, and the original ZIP no longer survives in any archive.
GNU Text Utilities for OS/2 is a suite of UNIX text utilities that make the command line a powerful tool. Includes SORT with no size limit that can remove duplicate lines, head, tail and most of the good unix utilities.
HyperView version 3.4 is an OS/2 file lister. Comes with both text and PM versions. This is the best file lister Jack found, particularly the text version. Its copy/paste features are great, work with the OS/2 ClipBoard perfectly, and add the ability to APPEND to the ClipBoard.
MTEL beta 6 release 2 for OS/2 and Win32 (Oct. 15th, 1999) — cool telnet client featuring zmodem, phonebook, ansi, vt100 & color backscroll. MTEL allows one to start a telenet connection without VMODEM. Simply connect to your ISP, fire up MTEL and you can connect to any FidoNet BBS that is telenet-able.
OS/2 Commander version 1.28 by Wolfgang Sarp is a clone of Norton Commander for DOS, but MUCH more powerful. Has many features. Homepage.
OS2CLU version 2 is a suite of OS/2 command line utilities written by Jonathan De Boyne Pollard — a suite of native 32-bit OS/2 command-line utilities for a wide variety of tasks, too many to describe individually.
RAM File System 64 is a virtual RAM drive for OS/2 that replaces VDISK.SYS. A great utility that will dynamically grow and shrink your RAM disk as needed — no wasted memory, and it will swap out to disk if you ever run out of memory.
The Hobbes archive (hobbes.nmsu.edu) is still the definitive OS/2 software library and most of these links still work. The Boxer and OS2C addresses are preserved exactly as Jack recorded them.
